For over 50 years, the McJunkin name has been synonymous with premium real estate development. In 1958, Jack McJunkin Sr. and his brother Herb formed Dal-Mac Construction Company and began building homes. The Dallas-based firm flourished, expanding into new territories and specialties. Responding to a booming market, Jack founded Dal-Mac Development, which became Centre Development in 1975. Jack’s son, Jack McJunkin Jr., joined the Centre Development team in 1990, becoming Vice President in 1993. Since its inception, Centre has developed more than 6,000 acres and improved over 11 million square feet of retail, residential, office, and industrial space.

In 2004, Jack Jr. and his wife Kimber began renovating their home. The project sparked interest in a new venture. Blending Jack’s technical expertise with Kimber’s design skills produced beautiful results and they enjoyed teaming up. Before long, the dynamic duo was renovating the homes of family and friends. The pastime quickly grew into a full-time business. In 2016, Jack and Kimber formed their new company, McJunkin Signature Homes.
